TBC Brands recently came to Creative Dimensions for direction on how to jump start their NTB Tire Stores in a challenging and highly competitive market, Fort Worth, Texas. Our core advertising medium in Texas is television, so we recommended a highly targeted direct mail drop to the zip codes around 10 stores in this market. When coupled with television, we've found that targeted direct mail can be very powerful in generating traffic and stimulating sales. The direct mail piece Creative Dimensions designed for NTB featured eight compelling offers, with "Buy Two Tires, Get Two Tires Free" highlighted on the outside. 160,000 direct mail pieces (16,000 per store within a 3-5 mile radius of each location) were dropped in the market on May 26 and May 27. Sales from the week of 5/26-5/29/10 were up an impressive 22.8%, and sales from the week of 5/30-6/5/10 jumped 31.6%. The overall mailing was very cost-effective, and it exceeded our client's expectations. TBC Brands is now considering rolling out this direct mail program nationwide in the areas surrounding their challenged markets.
